The Mr. Men Show was a fun TV series from Canada and the United States. It was a new version of a popular British cartoon called Mr. Men and Little Miss. This show brought the classic Mr. Men and Little Miss characters to life in a fresh way.

Discovering The Mr. Men Show

The Mr. Men Show was very similar to the original British series. But it added some exciting new parts! These included live-action skits with real actors. It also had a brand new theme song and different ending credits. The show first aired in Canada. Later, it came to the United States in the fall of 1997. It was shown across the country by The Summit Media Group.

The Mr. Men Players

A special part of this Canadian/American version was "the Mr. Men Players." These were real actors who appeared in funny live-action skits. They played different characters. For example, there was a News Lady with a fancy accent. There was also a Game Show Guy. Other players included a carpenter, his assistant, and a mad scientist with her helper.

Where Else Did It Air?

The episodes of Mr. Men and Little Miss were re-recorded for this show. These re-recorded episodes later appeared on their own. They were shown on Cartoon Network's program called Small World. This show was for younger kids. It featured cartoons from all over the world. The intro and end credits for The Mr. Men Show were removed for these broadcasts.
