Theresa is a small village located in Dodge County, Wisconsin, in the United States. In 2020, about 1,255 people lived there. The village of Theresa is completely surrounded by the larger Town of Theresa.

The Story of Theresa: How It Began
Theresa was started in the 1850s by Solomon Juneau. He founded the village with his wife, Josette Vieau Juneau, and their children. Josette was from the Métis people, who have mixed Native American and European heritage. The village was named after Solomon's mother, Marie-Thérèse Galarneau Juneau.
During World War I, something interesting happened here. Over 600 people from nearby towns gathered in Theresa. They wanted to stop a meeting planned by Emil Seidel. He was a former mayor of Milwaukee and a member of the Socialist party.
