Thomas & Friends is a children's television series about the engines and other characters working on the railways of the Island of Sodor, and is based on The Railway Series books written by the Reverend W. Awdry.
This article lists and details episodes from the eleventh series of this show, which was first broadcast in 2007. This series was narrated by Michael Angelis for the UK audiences, while Michael Brandon narrates the episodes for the US audiences.
Starting in this series, the theme song is sung by the kids from the "Thomas and Friends" suite.
Most episodes in this series have two titles: the original titles from the UK broadcasts are shown on top, while the American-adapted titles are shown underneath.
This was Christopher Skala's first series as executive producer.
For the US broadcasts, this was the last series to be distributed by Connecticut Public Television for the first few episodes. The rest and future series are distributed by WNET in New York City. This was also the last season to use models.
Production
Series 11 is the first in the Series to be filmed in high-definition television format. The broadcast version only included 26 episodes.

Thomas has to take a famous storyteller around the Island of Sodor so she can write a story and get her to the opening of the new library on time, but on his way to different sites of Sodor, he figures that he needs to help his friends, James, Emily, and Percy. And that is what makes the storyteller to make a story; of Thomas and his friends on the Island of Sodor and their way of working together and helping each other.

Emily is sent to work with a cheerful but smelly new engine called Whiff. When the other engines tease her, Emily decides to run away from Whiff, which doesn't prove to work well when a line of garbage trucks is blocking the line for Spencer. Emily realizes her mistake, and gets Whiff to help, which proves that there is no reason to fear for someone like Whiff.

Spencer once again boasts about being faster, shinier and stronger than Thomas. Thomas vows to prove him wrong, but all his efforts, from going fast to pulling heavy stone trucks, only make him look worse. However, his chance comes when Spencer is slow at starting up. Thomas takes the Duke and Duchess to the Sodor Airport, and watches from a distance as Jeremy flies them away.

James has the job of picking up the Mayor of Sodor for a festival, but Thomas, Percy and Emily have other jobs to do first, with rock loads and the troublesome trucks and James go to wash instead of helping them. But when he realises that none of them has made it to the festival, he decides to help them after all, and doesn't care if he gets dirty. But the Fat Controller reassures him that a dirty engine always proves to finish a lot of work to be very useful engine.

A new truck, nicknamed Hector "the Horrid" by Bill and Ben, has arrived to help with the heavy workload, and is unwilling to co-operate, much to the Troublesome Trucks being delighted by his attitude. When Rosie is called to help, Hector scares her away by yelling “KEEP AWAY!!!!”. Thomas has had enough, and bumps Hector, making him fall over. It turns out that Hector is afraid of being loaded with coal, but Thomas proves him the end that coal isn't that much dangerous, and later couples him up to the back of James' train.

The points are broken one day and Gordon must collect an engineer urgently. Unfortunately, Gordon rushes and his passenger turns out not to be who was expected. So Gordon has an idea, and works together with Donald and Douglas to get the engineer to the points that's broken. By the end, the points are fixed, and the engines can now continue their work as usual.

Percy sees strange lights in the sky, and Thomas tries to follow them to discover the source, instead of delivering the mail. In the end he asks Gordon for help, which proves successful. And it turns out that what Percy saw, was actually Jeremy the plane. Percy states at Tidmouth, that Jeremy is as much a happy site then a spaceship.

Henry is the only engine not held up by snow, because of supposed "lucky trucks", however the next day his luck runs out when his "lucky trucks" are taken by Edward. When he finally finds them, he crashes into them, breaking them apart. But he gets more confidence, and continues his job, which was to deliver presents for the children at the Sodor Airport.

Thomas wants to get to the harvest festival for the fireworks show, but first he has to deliver a new and very fragile light bulb to the lighthouse. However, after seeing his friends on their way to the festival, Thomas gets impatient and speeds up, but accidentally breaks the bulb when he comes across some tracks under repair. He collects a new bulb and goes very slowly, knowing he will miss the festival. After delivering the light bulb, Thomas sees the lighthouse, the lights from the ships at sea, and the reflections of the moon and the stars in the sea from the top of Gordon's Hill, and he thinks they are as wonderful as the fireworks.

Thomas likes to play jokes, and one day at the wharf, he gets the small narrow gauge engines to join him. So they trick one each other, and one by one every single narrow gauge engine is with Thomas, except for Peter Sam, who has an accident; and Mr. Percival arrives. He orders Thomas to sort out all his goods first. At the end, Mr. Percival asks where his trucks are, and Thomas puffs forwards with them, right behind him. Then Mr. Percival tells Thomas that; that was a good joke.

The Mayor of Sodor is having a new sailboat launched, and Thomas is assigned to deliver it to the ceremony. However, he ignores Cranky's advice to wait for the engineer to lower the mast, and soon pays the price when the strong wind makes Thomas go too fast and he finds himself unable to stop. Realizing his mistake, Thomas returns to the docks to collect the engineer and have the mast lowered. Afterwards, Thomas delivers the boat safely, and the ceremony is a big success.

In reality, Edward doesn't even know how to deliver the mail. He doesn't ask anyone for help to not make himself look silly. He ends up delivering the wrong parcels to the wrong places. He then visits Percy at the works, who tells him the way he does it. Edward then delivers the right parcels and the people is happy. After this, even though he is vice; Edward feels a way bit wiser.

While Thomas and Percy wait for an important cargo ship at the docks, Thomas suggests a game of Hide and Peep. Cranky wants to play but Thomas tells him that he would be no good at hiding. Thomas turns out to find Percy in any spot that Percy tries. Percy is later upset that Thomas is so good at finding him. When Thomas finds it hard to find Percy, he receives help from Cranky, who spots Percy being helped by Rocky to hide.

He hides and watches until Rheneas and Peter Sam run out of coal. Being the last hope, Skarloey realises that he must conquer his fears for the sheep.
