Thomas & Friends is a popular children's television series about trains and other characters. They all work on the railways of the Island of Sodor. The show is based on The Railway Series books, written by the Reverend W. Awdry.
This article is all about the eleventh series of Thomas & Friends. It first aired in 2007. For viewers in the UK, Michael Angelis told the stories. In the US, Michael Brandon was the narrator.
A cool change in this series was the theme song. Kids from the "Thomas and Friends" music group sang it!
Most episodes in this series have two different titles. The first title is the original one from the UK. The second title is the one used in America.
This was also the first series where Christopher Skala was the main producer. For US viewers, this was the last series that Connecticut Public Television helped distribute for the first few episodes. After that, WNET in New York City took over for future series. This was also the last season that used real models for the trains and characters.
