Thornville is a small village located in Perry County, Ohio, United States. It is about 20 miles (32 km) north of New Lexington, which is the main town of the county. In 2020, about 1,087 people lived in Thornville.

History of Thornville
Thornville was first established around 1811. It was originally known by a different name, Lebanon. A post office opened in the village in 1820, and that's when it officially became known as Thornville.
The area near Thornville is home to Legend Valley, a popular outdoor music venue. This venue hosts large events, including the Lost Lands music festival. This festival features electronic dance music and is known for its dinosaur-themed stages.

What the 2010 Census Showed
The 2010 census found 991 people living in Thornville. There were 417 households. About 34.3% of these households had children under 18 years old living there. Many households, 48.9%, were married couples. The average household had 2.38 people.
The average age of people in the village was 39.7 years. About 25.1% of residents were under 18. About 16% of residents were 65 years old or older. The village had slightly more females (52.2%) than males (47.8%).
