Three Days Grace is a Canadian rock band. They formed in Norwood, Ontario, Canada, in 1997. Before that, from 1993 to 1996, the band was known as "Groundswell." They played at local parties and places in Norwood.
The band started with Adam Gontier as the lead singer and guitarist. Neil Sanderson played drums and sang backup. Brad Walst was the bassist. In 2003, Barry Stock joined as the lead guitarist. This made Three Days Grace a four-member band. In 2013, Adam Gontier left the group. Matt Walst, Brad Walst's younger brother, became the new lead singer.
The band is currently with RCA Records. They have released six studio albums. Each album came out about three years apart. Their albums include Three Days Grace (2003), One-X (2006), Life Starts Now (2009), Transit of Venus (2012), Human (2015), and Outsider (2018). Many of their songs have become very popular. They have had 15 songs reach No. 1 on the Billboard Hot Mainstream Rock Tracks chart.
