Timberwood Park is a community located in the northern part of Bexar County, Texas, United States. It is found on the southern edge of the Texas Hill Country. This area has about 42 miles of roads and covers more than 2,000 acres of land.

In 2020, the population of Timberwood Park was 35,217 people. This was a big increase from 13,447 people in 2010. Timberwood Park is part of the larger San Antonio Metropolitan Statistical Area.

Timberwood Park is a unique neighborhood that stands apart from other areas nearby. Its borders are defined by Canyon Golf Road to the east, Deer Cross Lane and Midnight Drive to the south, Borfgeld Road to the north, and Blanco Road up to Slumber Pass on the west. The most northwestern part of the neighborhood reaches as far west as Bubbling Brook Drive, Sunny Meadow Drive, Silent Hollow, Symphonic Hill, and Streisand Street.

This community is located about 22 miles north of downtown San Antonio.
