Timbo is a small place in Stone County, Arkansas, United States. It's called an unincorporated community. This means it's not officially a city or town with its own local government. Timbo is nestled in the beautiful Ozark Mountains in the northern part of Arkansas. It's also very close to the town of Mountain View.
Timbo is famous for its amazing old-time music! A music legend named Jimmy Driftwood used to live there. In 1959, a famous music researcher, Alan Lomax, visited Timbo. He recorded many songs there.
