Where is Tioga Located?

How Tioga Got Its Name
The name "Tioga" has an interesting history. The community was named after Tioga County, Pennsylvania. Many of the early lumbermen who worked in this area came from that county in Pennsylvania. They brought the name with them, honoring their home.
