Toddville is a small community in western Linn County, Iowa. It is an unincorporated community, which means it does not have its own local government. You can find Toddville along local roads, just off I-380. It is located northwest of Cedar Rapids, which is the main city and county seat of Linn County. Toddville sits about 787 feet (240 meters) above sea level.

A Look Back: Toddville's History
Toddville was founded in the 1800s. In 1902, its population was 57 people.
Even though Toddville is not an official city, it once had its own post office. This post office used the ZIP code 52341. It closed down in the mid-1990s.
Toddville was also home to a school building. This school was part of the Alburnett Community School District. The building was constructed in 1923. It used to teach students from kindergarten through fourth grade. In 1988, students started going to the larger Alburnett elementary school nearby. The Toddville school building was officially closed in 1999. Today, the old school building is a private home.

The government counted the number of people in Toddville in 2010. There were 1,093 people living there. Out of these, 550 were males and 543 were females.

Toddville has an active group called the American Legion Toddville Post 674. This is a non-profit organization that helps the community. Every year on Memorial Day, this group holds a special service. They honor those who served in the military at three different spots in Toddville. One of these spots is at Grasshopper Bridge.

Toddville has about 25 different businesses. These include two churches and the Monroe Township Fire Station. There are also many businesses that work in different trades. One interesting local business is Bickal Koi Farm. They raise and sell beautiful Japanese Koi fish.

Wickiup Hill Natural Area is a great place to visit near Toddville. It has the Wickiup Outdoor Learning Area and Wickiup Wandering Woods. This area offers both outdoor and indoor activities. It is a fun place to learn about nature and the history of the local people. The offices for Linn County Conservation and Linn County Parks are also located here.
