Todor Slavov (Bulgarian: Тодор Славов) was a skilled Bulgarian rally driver. He was born on January 22, 1984, and became known for his exciting driving style in rally races. Sadly, he passed away on June 28, 2015.

About Todor Slavov
Todor Slavov was born in Varna on January 22, 1984. His father, Slavi, worked in construction, and his mother, Tatyana, worked in insurance.
He went to the "Dr. Petar Beron" Mathematical School in Varna. Later, he studied internal combustion engines at Varna Technical University.
On June 28, 2015, Todor was in a car crash during the Rally Tvarditsa-Elena. He was driving his Fiat Abarth Grande Punto S2000. He later died from his injuries.
Todor's Racing Journey
Starting Out in 2003
Todor Slavov began learning how to drive race cars in 2003. He was taught by Dimitar Iliev, who was an eight-time rally champion.
First Races in 2005
Todor started his professional racing career in 2005. His first event was a mountain race called "Targoviste," where he drove an Opel Corsa GSi.
His first rally championship was the Rally Old Capitals in 2005, where he finished sixth. He soon won his first victory in Class N2 at Rally Hebros. This win helped him reach second place overall in his class. By the end of that year, he was third in his class.
Moving Up in 2006
In 2006, Todor got a new car, a Renault Clio Sport Class N3. His co-driver was Dobromir Filipov. They even created their own team, Bulbet Rally Team, to help Todor improve. He won three big races in Bulgaria that year: Rally Bulgaria, Rally Hebros, and Rally Sliven. He finished second in the N3 class.
New Car and Progress in 2007
In 2007, the team bought an even newer Renault Clio, the Clio Sport R3. This year, Todor achieved his best results in overall standings. He finished 4th at Rally Sliven and 6th at Rally Serbia. He ended the year in sixth place in the Bulgarian Rally Championship. He also placed third in the European Rally Cup - East.
Winning a Title in 2008
In 2008, Todor Slavov and Dobromir Filipov won their first title! They became champions in Group A and Class A7 in the Bulgarian championship. They also finished on the podium at the Rally Sliven. Todor was the first Bulgarian driver to take part in the European shoot-out for Pirelli Star Driver.
European Races in 2009
In 2009, Todor raced with an improved Renault Clio R3 Maxi. The Bulbet team decided to compete in the European rally championship for two-wheel-drive cars. He became the vice-champion that year. He won three rallies: Mille Miglia (Italy), Ina-Delta (Croatia), and Automobile and Touring Club of Greece (ELPA, Greece). In Greece, he reached the podium for the first time in a European rally championship. He also competed again in the Pirelli Star Driver European shoot-out.
Junior World Rally Championship in 2010
In 2010, Todor Slavov continued to race his Renault Clio R3 Maxi. He decided to join the Junior World Rally Championship (JWRC). He took part in five of the six races that year. These races were in Turkey, Bulgaria, Germany, France, and Spain.
He had a very successful year in the JWRC. He finished 4th in Turkey, 3rd in Bulgaria, 7th in Germany, 6th in France, and 2nd in Spain. Overall, he finished in an amazing 3rd place in the Junior World Rally Championship, earning 59 points! This was a fantastic achievement for him.
