Before she became famous, Tokyo made a special wig for a high school friend. This friend was battling cancer and needed a wig for her prom. Tokyo and her team made, delivered, and styled the wig for her. After this, Tokyo started making wigs for a friend's cancer charity. People wanted to buy these wigs, so she began making them for her own clients.
