Tomahawk is a small town located in Lincoln County, Wisconsin, in the United States. In 2010, about 416 people lived here. It's important to know that the city of Tomahawk is a separate place. It's northeast of the town and not directly connected. A tiny community called Spirit Falls is also part of Tomahawk town.

Tomahawk town is found in the western part of Lincoln County. To its west, it shares a border with Price County. The eastern edge of the town is about 2 miles west of the city of Tomahawk.

Wisconsin Highway 86 crosses the northern part of the town. This highway goes east towards the city of Tomahawk. If you go west on it, you'll reach Ogema in Price County.

The town of Tomahawk covers a total area of about 185 square kilometers (71 square miles). Most of this area, about 180.6 square kilometers (69.7 square miles), is land. The rest, about 4.4 square kilometers (1.7 square miles), is water.

The Spirit River flows through the northern part of the town. It moves from west to east and drains most of the town's land. The southwestern part of the town has smaller streams that flow into the New Wood River. Both the Spirit River and the New Wood River eventually join the larger Wisconsin River.
