Tosca Jane Musk (born 20 July 1974) is a filmmaker from South Africa. She helps make movies, TV shows, and online videos. She works as an executive producer and director. Some of her well-known works include Driven and Matchmaker's Playbook. She also created the web series Tiki Bar TV. Tosca is the younger sister of Elon Musk and Kimbal Musk. Her parents are Errol Musk and Maye Musk. She also helped start a movie streaming service called Passionflix.

Her Early Life and School
Tosca Musk was born in South Africa. She grew up in Johannesburg with her two older brothers, Kimbal and Elon. Her parents, Errol and Maye Musk, separated in 1979.
In 1981, Elon went to live with his father. Four years later, Kimbal also moved in with their father. After finishing high school, Elon moved to Canada. Six months later, in 1989, her mother Maye and Tosca also moved to Canada.
In the 1990s, Tosca Musk went to the University of British Columbia. She finished her studies there in 1997.
Starting Her Career
Tosca Musk made her first full-length movie, Puzzled, in 2001. Her brother, Elon Musk, helped produce this film. After that, she produced another movie called The Truth About Miranda.
She has since produced and directed many other films and TV shows. These include the teen horror movie Cruel World and the drama We Have Your Husband. In 2011, she produced three more TV movies. These movies were shown on Lifetime and Hallmark in 2012.
Making Web Shows
In 2005, Tosca Musk worked with Jeff Macpherson. They created an online show called Tiki Bar TV. That same year, Steve Jobs showed Tiki Bar TV to a large audience. He used it as an example of a new type of online video. These videos could be put onto the new video iPod using Apple's iTunes software.
Tiki Bar TV was featured in Wired magazine. It also appeared in other news and media. In July 2006, Forbes magazine wrote about Jeff Macpherson. They called Tiki Bar TV one of the first big hits in online television.
Creating Passionflix
In 2017, Tosca Musk started a company called Passionflix. She worked with writer Joany Kane and producer Jina Panebianco. Passionflix creates movies based on popular romance novels.
As of 2022, people can subscribe to Passionflix for $6 each month. The company has also raised $22 million to help it grow. Tosca has directed many movies for this platform. These include Hollywood Dirt, Afterburn/Aftershock, and The Matchmaker's Playbook. She also directed Driven, The Protector, and the Gabriel's Inferno series.
