Tracy Jordan is a funny character from the TV show 30 Rock. He is played by actor Tracy Morgan. Tracy Jordan is a movie star. Some of his funny actions come from Tracy Morgan's real life. People really liked him! Entertainment Weekly even called him one of the greatest characters of the last 20 years.

Tracy Morgan won awards for playing Tracy Jordan. He was nominated for a Primetime Emmy Award and two Image Awards. He also got seven Screen Actors Guild Award nominations and won one!

Tracy had not made movies for two years. Jack changed the show's name to TGS with Tracy Jordan. Liz Lemon was not happy about this. But Tracy became very successful on TGS and in other projects.

Tracy Jordan is a descendant of Thomas Jefferson. He was born in Yankee Stadium. No one knows his exact birthday because he has no birth certificate. He shares an honorary birthday with his TGS co-star Jenna Maroney. Tracy grew up in a tough area of The Bronx.

As a kid, Tracy was on a Nickelodeon show. He also says he went to middle school in a gas station. He lived with his mom in 1979. He left high school because he could not dissect a frog. He also played drums on the street for money. He was discovered after doing stand-up comedy in 1984.

In one episode, it was shown that Tracy and Jenna died in 2016. But this was proven false later. In "30 Rock: A One-Time Special" in 2020, Tracy and Jenna were both alive. Tracy was living in Canada.
