Trafford is a small town, called a 'borough', located in Pennsylvania, USA. It's split between two counties: Allegheny and Westmoreland. You can find it near the big city of Pittsburgh in western Pennsylvania. Most of Trafford is in Westmoreland County, with just a tiny bit in Allegheny County.

Trafford became an official borough in 1904. It was named by George Westinghouse, a famous inventor, after a place called Trafford near Manchester, England. Westinghouse bought the land in 1902, and a factory called the Trafford Foundry started working there on October 3, 1903. In 2020, about 3,317 people lived in Trafford. Most of them, 3,113, lived in Westmoreland County, and 61 lived in Allegheny County.
