Trees of Pakistan facts for kids

The Himalayan Deodar Cedar (Cedrus doedara), Pakistan's national tree.
In Pakistan the more than 430 tree species are on 82 families and 226 genera. Out of these 22 species from 5 families and 11 genera belong to softwood trees of gymnosperms. The Himalayan Deodar Cedar is the “National Tree of Pakistan”.

National Trees

The Mango tree (Mangifera indica), Pakistan's national tropical tree.
The National Tree of Pakistan is the Himalayan Cedar (Cedrus deodara), and also the Mango tree (Mangifera indica) is the National Tropical Tree of Pakistan.
