Trees of Pakistan facts for kids

Pakistan is home to many different kinds of trees, with over 430 species! Among these, the Himalayan Deodar Cedar is very special because it is the National Tree of Pakistan. Trees are important symbols for countries and regions, showing their unique nature and culture.
Pakistan's National Trees

Pakistan actually has two national trees! The main one is the Himalayan Cedar (Cedrus deodara). This tree is known for being strong and growing tall in the mountains.
The second national tree is the Mango tree (Mangifera indica). This tree is called the National Tropical Tree. It's famous for its delicious fruit, which grows in warmer parts of Pakistan.
