Trevor Etienne (born July 9, 2004) is an American football player. He is a running back for the Carolina Panthers in the National Football League (NFL). Before joining the NFL, he played college football for the Florida Gators and the Georgia Bulldogs. The Panthers chose him in the fourth round of the 2025 NFL draft. Trevor is also the younger brother of another NFL player, Travis Etienne.

Early Life and High School Football
Trevor Etienne grew up in Jennings, Louisiana. He went to Jennings High School. During his time there, he was an amazing running back. He ran for a total of 2,455 yards and scored 34 touchdowns.
In his senior year, he had an incredible season. He rushed for 1,344 yards and scored 20 touchdowns. Because of his great performance, he was chosen for the All-American Bowl team. Trevor was considered one of the best running backs in the country for the class of 2022. He decided to play college football at the University of Florida. He chose Florida over other big schools like Clemson and LSU.
College Football Career
Playing for the Florida Gators
Trevor started his college career strong at Florida in 2022. In his very first game, he ran for 63 yards. The next week, he scored his first college touchdown against Kentucky. He also scored the winning touchdown in a close 31-28 game against USF.
As a freshman in 2022, Trevor ran for 719 yards and scored six touchdowns. He was recognized for his talent and named to the SEC All-Freshman Team.
In 2023, his second season, Trevor had a career-best game against the No. 11 Tennessee team. He rushed for 173 yards and a touchdown, helping Florida win a big upset game 29-16. This performance earned him the Doak Walker Running Back of the Week award. Later that season, against No. 19 LSU, he ran for 99 yards and scored a career-high three touchdowns. He finished the 2023 season with 753 rushing yards and eight touchdowns. After this season, he decided to look for a new college team.
Playing for the Georgia Bulldogs
On December 24, 2023, Trevor announced he would transfer to the University of Georgia. He joined the Georgia Bulldogs team.
In 2024, he made a big impact for Georgia. Against the No. 1 Texas team, he ran for 87 yards and scored three touchdowns. This helped Georgia win 30-15. In the 2024 SEC Championship Game, which was a rematch against No. 2 Texas, he rushed for 94 yards and two touchdowns. He even scored the game-winning touchdown in overtime, leading Georgia to a 22-19 victory. Trevor finished his first season at Georgia with 609 rushing yards and nine touchdowns.
On January 15, 2025, Trevor Etienne decided to enter the 2025 NFL draft.
