Trevor Ogilvie-Grant, 4th Baron Strathspey (born March 2, 1879 – died November 11, 1948) was an important person in British history. He was born in New Zealand. His father was a Scottish noble, which means he belonged to a special family with a long history.

When his father passed away, Trevor inherited a special title. He became the 4th Baron Strathspey. This title allowed him to be a member of the House of Lords. The House of Lords is part of the UK Parliament, where laws are discussed and made.

Early Life and Education

Trevor Ogilvie-Grant was born in 1879 in a town called Oamaru in New Zealand. His parents were Francis Ogilvy-Grant and Ann Trevor Corry Evans. He was their second son.

He went to several schools in New Zealand. First, he attended Warwick House preparatory school in Christchurch. His older brother, James, also went there. Later, Trevor studied at Waitaki Boys' High School and St John's College.

Trevor Ogilvie-Grant married Alice Louisa Hardy-Johnston. They got married on December 19, 1905, in Tauranga, New Zealand. After their wedding, they made their home in Wellington.

They had two children together in New Zealand. Their daughter was Lena Barbara Joan Ogilvie-Grant. Their son was Donald Grant of Grant. Donald later became the 5th Baron Strathspey. Sadly, Trevor's first wife, Alice, passed away in 1945.

In March 1947, Trevor married again. His second wife was Elfrida Minnie Fass. She was from Cape Town in South Africa.

Later Years

Baron Strathspey passed away on November 11, 1948. His second wife, Elfrida, died the following year in 1949.
