Trish Adora, whose real name is Patrice Adora McNair, is an exciting American professional wrestler. She was born on March 13, 1989. Trish is known for her powerful moves and strong presence in the wrestling ring. She often wrestles for big companies like All Elite Wrestling (AEW) and Ring of Honor (ROH). She is also a member of a wrestling group called Shane Taylor Promotions and its smaller team, The Infantry. Trish Adora made history as the very first Pan-Afrikan World Diaspora Wrestling World Champion. She has also competed in other wrestling promotions such as Game Changer Wrestling, Progress Wrestling, and New Japan Pro-Wrestling.

Early Life and Military Service

Patrice McNair was born in Washington, D.C. on March 13, 1989. Before she became a professional wrestler, Trish Adora served her country. She spent eight years working in the United States Army. This experience helped her become strong and disciplined, qualities that are very useful in wrestling.

Starting Her Wrestling Journey

Training to Become a Wrestler

In May 2015, Trish Adora began her training to become a professional wrestler. She learned her skills at the Team 3D Academy. This famous wrestling school was owned by two legendary wrestlers, Bubba Ray Dudley and D-Von Dudley, also known as the Dudley Boyz.

First Matches and Big Wins

Trish Adora made her official wrestling debut in 2016. She started using her ring name, Trish Adora, for her matches. In 2018, she even appeared on a WWE show called NXT. On that show, she wrestled against the NXT Women's Champion Kairi Sane.

A big moment for Trish Adora happened on February 15, 2020. At an event called F1ght Club, she won a special tournament. By winning, she became the first-ever Pan-Afrikan World Diaspora Wrestling World Champion. This was a huge achievement in her early career.

Wrestling in Major Promotions

Competing in Ring of Honor

In May 2021, Trish Adora started wrestling for Ring of Honor (ROH). She joined the ROH Women's World Championship tournament. She showed her strength by defeating Marti Belle and Allysin Kay in her first two matches. However, she lost in the semifinals to Miranda Alize.

Trish Adora officially signed with ROH on September 29, 2021. Later that year, ROH announced they would take a break after their Final Battle event in December. All wrestlers were released from their contracts at that time.

Joining All Elite Wrestling

Trish Adora also began appearing for All Elite Wrestling (AEW), which is ROH's sister company. Her first AEW match was on November 22, 2021, on an episode of Dark: Elevation. She wrestled against Riho in that match.

On May 16, 2022, Trish Adora challenged Mercedes Martinez for the ROH Women's World Championship on Elevation. She fought hard but was not able to win the championship that day.

Returning to Ring of Honor

Trish Adora returned to ROH after it relaunched on December 10, 2022. She wrestled against Willow Nightingale during the Final Battle pre-show.

After her return, Trish Adora became a manager and valet for the tag team The Infantry. This team includes Carlie Bravo and Shawn Dean. On July 6, 2023, The Infantry, with Trish Adora, faced The Undisputed Kingdom (Matt Taven and Mike Bennett) and Leyla Hirsch. They were not successful in that match.

On February 14, 2024, Trish Adora entered the first ROH Women's World Television Championship tournament. She lost to Mercedes Martinez in the first round. As of March 2024, The Infantry, including Trish Adora, started making appearances on AEW shows.

At Supercard of Honor on April 5, Trish Adora managed The Infantry. They challenged The Undisputed Kingdom for the ROH World Tag Team Championship but did not win. On July 26, 2024, at Death Before Dishonor, Trish Adora managed The Infantry in a tag team match. They won against Griff Garrison and Anthony Henry. On October 31, 2024, The Infantry officially joined Shane Taylor Promotions. On January 9, 2025, Trish Adora defeated Harley Cameron on ROH Wrestling, ending Cameron's undefeated streak.

Wrestling in Japan

On January 4, 2023, Trish Adora made her debut in Japan for Tokyo Joshi Pro-Wrestling (TJPW). She wrestled at the Tokyo Joshi Pro '23 event. She challenged Miu Watanabe for the International Princess Championship but was unsuccessful.

On March 31, 2023, TJPW held its first show in Los Angeles, California. Trish Adora teamed up with Hyper Misao at this event. They defeated the team of Raku and Yuki Aino.

Competing in New Japan Pro-Wrestling

Trish Adora also made her debut for New Japan Pro-Wrestling (NJPW) on June 10, 2023. This was at the 2023 NJPW Academy Spring Showcase. She wrestled against Johnnie Robbie in a match she did not win.

On January 13, 2024, at Battle in the Valley, Trish Adora challenged Giulia for the Strong Women's Championship. She fought hard but was unable to win the title.

Patrice McNair has shared that her interest in wrestling began because of another famous wrestler. She was inspired by Jacqueline, who sparked her passion for the sport.
