Tristin Mays is an American actress born on June 10, 1990. She is well-known for playing Riley Davis in the TV show MacGyver. In the show, Riley is a smart computer expert who works for a secret organization called the Phoenix Foundation.
Early Life and School
Tristin Mays grew up in New York City. Her mom, Viveca, is an artist. Her dad, Michael, worked in the military. In 2003, her family moved to Moreno Valley, California. Tristin finished high school at Vista del Lago High School. Her older brother, Jeryn, is also an actor.
Acting Career
Tristin Mays is most famous for her role as Riley Davis in the 2016 TV series MacGyver. But she has been in many other TV shows too. When she was younger, she played Shaina in the Nickelodeon series Gullah Gullah Island. She was also Robin Dixon in Alias. Robin was the daughter of Marcus Dixon, a character played by Carl Lumbly.
Tristin has appeared in many popular shows. These include Ned's Declassified School Survival Guide, Everybody Hates Chris, and True Jackson, VP. She also had roles in Zeke and Luther, Big Time Rush, Victorious, and The Vampire Diaries.
When she was seven years old in 1997, Tristin joined the cast of Gullah Gullah Island. That same year, she played Nala in The Lion King on Broadway. Later, she played Fan in the musical A Christmas Carol. In 2009, she was a regular on the web series Private. This show was based on a series of books. In 2011, she starred in another internet show called FAIL. She was also in an episode of Impractical Jokers in 2019.
