Troy is a small town in Indiana, located right by the Ohio River. It's in Perry County, close to where the Anderson River meets the Ohio. Troy is special because it's the second oldest town in Indiana! In 2020, about 347 people lived there.

History of Troy, Indiana
Troy was first planned out in 1815. For a while, it was even the main town, or "county seat," for Perry County. The town has had a post office helping people send mail since 1818.
A very famous person, Abraham Lincoln, worked on a ferry boat across the Ohio River near Troy when he was young. He did this with his father.
The Nester House is a very old and important building in Troy. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1990. This means it's a special place worth protecting because of its history.
