Tullos is a small town located in the state of Louisiana, USA. It's found in both LaSalle and Winn parishes, right by Castor Creek. In 2010, about 385 people lived there. By 2020, the population was 304.

Tullos is in the northwestern part of LaSalle Parish. It sits at an elevation of about 125 feet (38 meters) above sea level. A small part of the town's northwest edge crosses Castor Creek into Winn Parish.
Roads and Waterways in Tullos
U.S. Route 84 goes through the northern side of Tullos. This road leads 16 miles (26 km) southeast to Jena, which is the main town for the parish. It also goes 22 miles (35 km) northwest to Winnfield.
Another major road, U.S. Route 165, passes through the southeast corner of Tullos. This four-lane highway goes 20 miles (32 km) northeast to Grayson. It also travels 42 miles (68 km) south to Alexandria.
Tullos covers a total area of about 1.6 square miles (4.2 square kilometers). Most of this area is land. About 0.02 square miles (0.05 square kilometers), or 1.27%, is water. The water in Tullos flows into Castor Creek. This creek is part of the Little River system, which eventually flows into Catahoula Lake.
Tullos History: The 1953 Tornado
On December 3, 1953, a very strong tornado, rated F4, struck Tullos. This tornado caused a lot of damage to the town. Sadly, two young children lost their lives, and 15 other people were hurt during this event.
