Ulrich Jean Eugène Ramé (born 19 September 1972) is a French former professional footballer. He played as a goalkeeper.
Ulrich Ramé played football for more than 20 years. He spent most of his career, 14 seasons, with Bordeaux. He played over 500 official games and helped his team win six major titles. He also played for the French national team for four years. He was part of the team that won Euro 2000.

Ulrich Ramé's Club Career
Ulrich Ramé was born in Nantes, France. He began his professional football journey with SCO Angers. He played his first game in France's top league, Ligue 1, in the 1993–94 season. However, his team was moved down to a lower league that same year.
Two years later, Angers went down another division. But Ramé quickly returned to the top league. He joined Bordeaux for the next season.
In his first year with Bordeaux, he played 23 games. He helped his team finish fifth in the league. The next year, they reached the final of the League Cup. After this, Ramé became Bordeaux's main goalkeeper.
He helped Bordeaux win two national championships. These wins were ten years apart. He also helped them win three more League Cups.
In the 2009–10 season, Bordeaux signed another goalkeeper, Cédric Carrasso. At 37 years old, Ramé became the backup goalkeeper. In June 2011, after playing 520 matches for Bordeaux, he left the club. He then joined CS Sedan Ardennes in Ligue 2, a lower division.
Ulrich Ramé's International Career
Ulrich Ramé played his first game for the French national team on 9 June 1999. It was a UEFA Euro 2000 qualifying match against Andorra, which France won 1–0.
He was chosen to be part of the squad for the main Euro 2000 tournament. France went on to win the championship! After the main goalkeeper, Bernard Lama, retired from international games, Ramé became the second-choice goalkeeper for France.
Ramé played three games in the 2001 FIFA Confederations Cup. France won this tournament too. He was also a backup goalkeeper for France in the 2002 FIFA World Cup in South Korea.
However, after a difficult game against the Czech Republic on 12 February 2003, he was not called up to play for the national team again by manager Jacques Santini.
