How Is Unimix Used?
The most common way to use Unimix is to make a warm porridge. You just cook it with water. People eat this porridge along with any other food they have. This helps them get the extra nutrients they need.

Unimix Helps Children Grow
Many groups that help people, called humanitarian organizations, send Unimix to places where people are very hungry. They send large amounts to help fight severe malnutrition. This is especially important for children. Children need a lot of protein and other nutrients to grow big and strong. Unimix gives them these important building blocks.
For example, in 2005, there was a big food shortage in Niger. This event is known as the Niger Food Crisis. During that time, over 200 tons of Unimix were sent to Niger. This helped many children and families get the food they needed to survive and get healthy.
