Where is Union Located?
Union is in the northwest part of Burnett County. Its western edge follows the St. Croix River. This river forms the border between Wisconsin and the state of Minnesota.
The Clam River also flows through Union. It joins the St. Croix River within the town's borders. The Clam River enters Union from the south.

The town of Union covers a total area of about 98 square kilometers (or 37.8 square miles). Most of this area is land. About 90.1 square kilometers (34.8 square miles) is land. The rest, about 7.9 square kilometers (3.1 square miles), is water. This means about 8% of Union's total area is water.
