The United States Army Aviation Museum is an exciting aviation museum located at Fort Rucker in Daleville, Alabama. It holds the largest collection of helicopters found in any museum around the world!
This amazing museum showcases about 50 aircraft for everyone to see. You can find aviation items from a copy of the Wright brothers' Model B military biplane to a modern RAH-66 Comanche helicopter. The museum's full collection has over 160 aircraft and 3,000 historical items. It's a fantastic place to learn about the history of flight!

Exploring the Museum's History
The museum has grown a lot over the years. In 1977, plans were announced to raise money for a new building. This new building would replace the older wooden structures.
A new building, called the William A. Howell Training Support Facility, began construction in November 2019. This facility is used for training and is not open to the public. It officially opened its doors on April 12, 2024.
