Upper Silver Lake is a beautiful lake in Waterford Township, Michigan. It covers about 35.5 acres, which is like 27 football fields! This lake is located in Oakland County, Michigan.
The lake is about 30 feet deep. You can find it south of Walton Boulevard and east of Silver Lake Road.
Upper Silver Lake is connected to a bigger water system. It's part of the Clinton River watershed. A watershed is an area of land where all the water drains into one main river or lake. Upper Silver Lake also connects to a larger lake called Silver Lake to its west. Silver Lake is much bigger, covering about 101 acres.
