Uva (Sinhala: ඌව Uva, Tamil: ஊவா Uva) is a beautiful province in the country of Sri Lanka. It was created in 1896, making it an older part of the country's map. The main city and capital of Uva Province is Badulla.
About 1.2 million people live in Uva Province. This makes it one of the less crowded provinces in Sri Lanka. It's a great place to explore nature and learn about Sri Lanka's history.

Geography and Location
Uva Province is located in the southeastern part of Sri Lanka. It shares its borders with several other provinces. To the east, it meets the Eastern Province. The Southern Province is to its south. The Central Province is to the north and west.
Natural Wonders of Uva
Uva is famous for its amazing natural sights. You can find many stunning waterfalls here. Some of the most popular ones include Dunhinda Falls, Diyaluma Falls, and Rawana Falls. These waterfalls are tall and beautiful, attracting many visitors.
