VC Zenit-Kazan (Russian: Зенит-Казань) is a professional men's volleyball team. It is based in Kazan, Russia. Before 2008, the team was known as Dinamo Tattransgaz Kazan. They play in the top Russian league, called the Super League. Zenit-Kazan has won this league 11 times!

Club History

The Zenit-Kazan club was started on May 13, 2000. It was created by the Tatarstan Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Kazan City Administration. The team began by playing in the Russian Championship First League.

Home Stadium

The team plays its home games at the Kazan Volleyball Centre. This is a very modern sports building. It has a main arena that can hold 5,000 fans. There is also a smaller arena for 700 people. The center has all the facilities needed for training and games.
