The Val-de-Ruz District is one of six special areas in the canton of Neuchâtel, Switzerland. It includes the beautiful Val de Ruz valley and parts of the Jura Mountains. The main town, or capital, of this district is Cernier. As of 31 December 2020, about 17,411 people live here.
