Val Terbi is a municipality, or town, located in the Jura canton of Switzerland. It's part of the Delémont district. Val Terbi was formed when several smaller towns joined together. On January 1, 2013, the towns of Montsevelier, Vermes, and Vicques merged. Later, on January 1, 2018, Corban also became part of Val Terbi.

Montsevelier's History
Montsevelier was first mentioned in old records in the year 1136. Back then, it was known as Muzivilir. It also used to have a German name, Mutzwil, but that name is no longer used today.
Vermes' History
Vermes is even older! It was first mentioned in records from 866, where it was called Vertima. Later, in 1308, it appeared as Vermunt.
Vicques' History
Vicques also dates back to 866, when it was known as Vicum. These old names show how long people have lived in this area.
