Valle is a small community in Coconino County, Arizona, United States. It is also known as Grand Canyon Junction. A "census-designated place" means it's an area identified by the U.S. Census Bureau for statistical purposes. It's not an officially incorporated town.
In 2020, about 759 people lived in Valle. It sits high up, at about 5,942 feet (1,811 meters) above sea level. Valle is located where two important roads meet: U.S. Route 180 and State Route 64.
Many people stop in Valle on their way to the amazing Grand Canyon. It's a convenient halfway point if you are traveling from Williams or Flagstaff.

What is Valle Like?
Valle is a quiet area with a few streets located west of the main highways. Some roads are also found east of U.S. Route 180. The area was planned for a community where one-acre lots were sold in the 1960s.
Most of these roads are dirt roads, except for the two main highways. While some people own land here, the area has not been fully developed.

Most students in Valle attend schools that are part of the Williams Unified School District. A smaller part of Valle is in the Grand Canyon Unified School District. Students in that area might go to Grand Canyon High School.

Planes of Fame Air Museum
This museum is a great place to see many different types of airplanes. It's a branch of the Planes of Fame Air Museum located in Chino, California. You can learn about the history of aviation and see aircraft up close.
Bedrock City: A Blast from the Past
Valle used to be home to a unique amusement park called Bedrock City. This park was based on the popular cartoon show The Flintstones. Visitors could explore buildings and see statues that looked just like the cartoon's Stone Age world.
Note: Bedrock City closed its doors on January 28, 2019.
