Venton is a small, quiet community in Somerset County, Maryland, United States. It is not a city or town with its own government. Instead, it is an unincorporated community. This means it is a group of homes and farms that are not officially part of a town.

Venton is mostly made up of farms and homes along Venton Road. It is also home to two important historical places. These are All Saints Church at Monie and Panther's Den. Both of these sites are listed on the National Register of Historic Places. This means they are special places that are protected because of their history.

Venton does not have any train lines. The closest train tracks are in Princess Anne. These tracks are currently owned by Norfolk Southern Railway.
