Vici /ˈvaɪsaɪ/ is a small town located in Dewey County, Oklahoma, in the United States. In 2020, about 611 people lived there. The name "Vici" comes from a Latin phrase meaning "I conquered."

History of Vici
The town of Vici was officially planned on September 11, 1911. Before this, some smaller settlements were nearby. Buildings were moved to the new site to be closer to the tracks of a new railway. This railway was called the Wichita Falls and Northwestern Railway. It later became part of the Missouri–Kansas–Texas Railroad.
The old Vici M-K-T Depot is a historic building. It is located on Houser Street between 7th and 8th. This depot is listed on the National Register of Historic Places listings in Dewey County, Oklahoma. This means it is an important historical site.
Vici became a busy place for shipping farm products until the 1940s. Train service stopped in 1972. However, other activities became important for the town's economy. These include ranching, oil and gas production, and a large nursing home.
In 2010, a movie called The Dome of Heaven was filmed in Vici. Some local people, like Mark Randall, Molly Randall, Travis Dennett, and Trey Verhoeff, were in the movie.
Northwest of Vici, there is a large wind farm. It is called the Persimmon Creek Wind Farm. It started making electricity in September 2018. It can produce 200 megawatts of power.
Geography and Location
Vici is a town made entirely of land. It covers an area of about 0.4 square miles (1.12 square kilometers).
The town is located where two main roads meet. These roads are U.S. Route 60 and Oklahoma State Highway 34.
Vici also has its own airport, called Vici Municipal Airport. It is about one mile south of the town. The airport has a paved runway that is 2,565 feet long and 50 feet wide.
