The Victoriaville Tigres are a Canadian junior ice hockey team. They play in a league called the Quebec Maritimes Junior Hockey League (QMJHL). The team is based in Victoriaville, Quebec. They play their home games at the Colisée Desjardins.

Starting in Longueuil

The Victoriaville Tigres hockey team started a long time ago, in the 1982-1983 hockey season. Back then, they were known as the Longueuil Chevaliers. They played in Longueuil, Quebec.

Moving to Victoriaville

In 1987, the team moved to Victoriaville. The owner, Gilles Lupien, made this big change. That's when they became the Victoriaville Tigres!

Winning Championships

The Tigres have won the President's Cup twice. This is a very important championship in the QMJHL. They won it in 2002 and again in 2021. In 2002, they even made it to the finals of the 2002 Memorial Cup. This is a huge tournament for junior hockey teams. They played against the Kootenay Ice but didn't win that final game.
