Vincint Cannady (born in 1991), known simply as Vincint, is an American singer and songwriter. They became well-known as a finalist on the first season of the singing show The Four.
Vincint released their first collection of songs, called an EP, titled The Feeling on February 14, 2020. Later, their first full album, There Will Be Tears, came out on June 11, 2021.

Early Life and Music Start
Vincint Cannady grew up in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Their father was a gospel singer, and Vincint started singing when they were just five years old. Even though they were shy about singing as a child, their father helped them join an all-boys choir when they were seven. Vincint also wrote their first song at age twelve.
They were raised in the Baptist faith but went to Catholic school. Vincint has said that famous singers like Beyoncé, Whitney Houston, Céline Dion, Madonna, and Britney Spears were big inspirations for them when they were young. They went to college at Berklee College of Music and finished their studies in 2013.
Music Career Highlights
Becoming Known on The Four
In 2018, Vincint appeared on the first season of The Four. They impressed all the judges with their performance of "Creep" by Radiohead. Vincint made it to the finale but was eliminated in the first round.
After the show, Vincint released three singles in 2018: "Remember Me," "Mine," and "Marrow." "Marrow" was their very first single and had a music video released on February 8, 2018. The video was filmed in a church, which was a nod to Vincint's childhood. Their singing style can go from strong, powerful notes to soft, whispery ones. Vincint describes their music as pop.
Releasing The Feeling and There Will Be Tears
On April 5, 2019, Vincint shared a music video for their song "Please Don't Fall in Love." Their first EP, The Feeling, was released on February 14, 2020. One of Vincint's songs, "Be Me," was chosen as the theme song for the fifth season of the TV show Queer Eye. They also released "Hard 2 Forget", which was the first song from their upcoming debut album.
On May 28, 2021, Vincint released the song "Kill My Heart," featuring Parson James and Qveen Herby. They then released "Getaway," featuring Tegan and Sara, on June 9. Vincint's first full album, There Will Be Tears, came out on June 11, 2021. Many people described the album as both emotional and great for dancing.
The Getaway Tour and New Music
Vincint's first concert tour, called The Getaway Tour, was planned to support their album There Will Be Tears. The tour was first set for January 2022 but was moved to May 2022 because of COVID-19. Vincint also performed the song "Mission" for the Love, Victor TV show's third season soundtrack, which was released on June 15, 2022.
