Location and Geography
Visiedo is found in the central part of the Teruel province. It sits at an elevation of 1,185 meters (about 3,888 feet) above sea level. This high location means it often has cooler temperatures.
The area around Visiedo includes a flat region called the Plains of Visiedo (or Llanos de Visiedo in Spanish). These plains are part of a larger geographic area known as the Sierra de San Just. A "sierra" is a mountain range, so this means the plains are near some mountains.
