WWE Slam City is a fun animated show made by WWE. It was shown on the WWE Network and also on Nicktoons. This cartoon was based on cool action figures from Mattel, which looked like toy versions of the real WWE wrestlers at the time.
What is WWE Slam City?
The show uses a special kind of animation called stop-motion. In WWE Slam City, a new character named The Finisher appears. He decides to fire all the WWE wrestlers! This means the wrestlers have to go to Slam City to find new jobs.
The wrestlers face many funny challenges as they try out new careers. They fill every street corner with work and even some old rivalries. For example, John Cena becomes a car mechanic. Rey Mysterio works as a traffic guard. Alberto Del Rio makes coffee as a barista. Mark Henry is a mascot for a pizza shop. CM Punk sells ice cream. Dolph Ziggler becomes a business leader. Randy Orton works at a zoo. Kane is a chef. And Sheamus helps people at a movie theater.
Some wrestlers, like Daniel Bryan, The Miz, Big Show, Brock Lesnar, Santino Marella, and Damien Sandow, are still looking for jobs. Santino and Sandow are especially eager to find work. Even famous WWE Legends like Stone Cold Steve Austin and The Rock show up in Slam City! The show also highlights a special "Stretch Move" feature of the Slam City characters.
