Early Life and College Basketball
Wade Baldwin IV grew up in Belle Mead, New Jersey. He went to Immaculata High School and later transferred to St. Joseph High School.
Playing for Vanderbilt
Wade played college basketball for Vanderbilt. As a freshman, he started in 24 games. He averaged 9.3 points and 4.4 assists per game. He also set a new record for freshmen at Vanderbilt with 155 assists.
In his second year, he improved his game. He averaged 14.1 points and 5.2 assists per game. Wade helped Vanderbilt reach the NCAA tournament in 2016. After his sophomore year, he decided to enter the NBA draft. This meant he gave up his last two years of college basketball.

NBA Journey
Memphis Grizzlies
The Memphis Grizzlies picked Wade as the 17th player in the 2016 NBA draft. He signed his first contract with them in July 2016. He played his first NBA game on October 26, 2016. During his time with the Grizzlies, he also played for their minor league team, the Iowa Energy. The Grizzlies let him go in October 2017.
Portland Trail Blazers
In October 2017, Wade signed a special "two-way contract" with the Portland Trail Blazers. This meant he could play for both the Trail Blazers and a G-League team. He spent time with the Texas Legends. In March 2018, he signed a regular NBA contract with the Blazers.
Trades and New Teams
In February 2019, Wade was traded to the Cleveland Cavaliers. A few days later, he was traded again to the Houston Rockets. Hours after that, he was traded one more time to the Indiana Pacers. The Pacers then let him go.
Raptors 905
