Wadjalang Country
The Wadjalang people lived in a large area of Queensland. Their traditional lands covered about 38,800 square kilometers (15,000 square miles).
This land included the areas where the Bulloo and Langlo rivers begin. Their country stretched north from Quilpie towards Northampton Downs, which is east of Blackall, and also reached Tambo.
The eastern edge of their lands was near places like Cheepie, Burrandilla, and Nive Downs. Other important areas within their traditional country included Ambathalla and Minnie Downs.
