History of Walstonburg

Walstonburg is in the northern part of Greene County. North Carolina Highway 91 runs through the town. This road goes south about 10 miles (16 km) to Snow Hill. Snow Hill is the main town in Greene County.

If you go north on Highway 91 for about 1 mile (1.6 km), you reach U.S. Route 264 Alternate. From there, you can travel east about 22 miles (35 km) to Greenville. Or, you can go northwest about 15 miles (24 km) to Wilson.
