Walton Mountain is a tall peak located in the Lewis Range of Glacier National Park. This park is found in the U.S. state of Montana. The mountain stands at about 8,931 feet (2,722 meters) high.
On the east and northeast sides of Walton Mountain, you can find two unnamed hanging glaciers. These are masses of ice that cling to the mountain slopes. Another mountain, Mount Jackson, is nearby. It is about 1.8 miles (2.9 kilometers) to the north-northeast of Walton Mountain.
