Reproduction Efforts

Giant pandas are an endangered species. This means there are not many of them left in the wild. Zoos around the world work hard to help them have babies. This helps increase their numbers.

Wang Wang and Funi have been together at Adelaide Zoo for many years. The zoo hopes they will have cubs. However, they have not yet had any babies. The zoo continues to try and help them reproduce. This is a common challenge with giant pandas in zoos.
