Wantabadgery is a small village community located in the central eastern part of the Riverina region in New South Wales, Australia. It sits about 35 kilometres east of the city of Wagga Wagga and 19 kilometres west of Nangus. In 2021, the village had a population of 183 people.

Wantabadgery has a unique history. It was once known as an Aboriginal Mission. These missions were places set up to house and sometimes educate Aboriginal people. Today, Wantabadgery continues as a small, peaceful village community.
Post Office History: Connecting the Community
For many years, Wantabadgery had its own post office. The Wanta Badgery Post Office first opened its doors on 1 December 1923. It served the local residents, helping them send and receive mail. The post office eventually closed down in 1966.
