About Ward Hill
Ward Hill is named after a hill that is now part of the area. The official boundaries for Ward Hill were set in October 1998. This included a place called the Webling Bay Shack Area, which was already well-known.
Natural Features
The coastline of Ward Hill, along the Spencer Gulf, has some interesting natural features. At its northern end, there's an inlet called Mundoora Arm. An inlet is a small arm of the sea, a lake, or a river that extends into the land. There's also a channel known as Hamilton Lagoons. A channel is a narrow body of water connecting two larger bodies of water.
