Interesting Historical Events

Once, a mayor named Mark Allen was chosen in a very unusual way. His election ended in a tie, so they rolled dice to pick the winner! This happened in 2001.

On September 22, 2016, an EF1 tornado hit the city. This tornado was part of a group of storms that caused some damage in the Salt Lake City metropolitan area. Only one person was hurt, and they got better.
