Wayne Heights is located in the southeastern part of Franklin County. It sits east of the center of Washington Township. The community is next to the borough of Waynesboro on its west side. To its east, you'll find the community of Rouzerville.

Pennsylvania Route 16 is the main road that goes through Wayne Heights. It's often called Main Street. If you travel west on Route 16, you'll reach Greencastle about 10 miles away. Going east on the same road will take you to Blue Ridge Summit, which is about 5 miles away.
