The West Sepik tree frog (Litoria leucova) is a small type of frog. It lives in Papua New Guinea, a country north of Australia.
Scientists first found this frog high up in the mountains. They saw it about 1,600 meters (which is about 5,250 feet) above sea level. This was in a place called West Sepik Province.

The West Sepik tree frog is known by its scientific name, Litoria leucova. It was first described by a scientist named Tyler in 1968. This frog is part of a group called "tree frogs" because many of them live in trees.
Where it Lives
This special frog has only been found in one area so far. That area is the West Sepik Province in Papua New Guinea. It likes to live in places that are quite high up, far above the ocean.
