Westhill is a small village located just outside the city of Inverness in Scotland. Its name in Gaelic is Cnoc Shuas. Many people who live in Westhill travel to Inverness for work, making it a "commuter village."
This village is found in the Highland council area of Scotland. It's about 3 miles (5 kilometers) from the center of Inverness. Westhill is situated between two other places called Cradlehall and Culloden. It lies to the south of the Moray Firth, which is a large inlet of the North Sea.
A very important historical site, the Culloden Battlefield, is only about 2 miles (3 kilometers) to the east of Westhill. This was the location of a famous battle in Scottish history.
