History of Westworth Village
The city of Westworth Village grew a lot because of the Carswell Air Force Base. In 1941, the Fort Worth Chamber of Commerce gave 1,400 acres of land to the government. This land was used to build the air force base. Westworth Village officially became a city in the same year.
